Introduction

This is my first effort in this type of environment (blog, public outreach), so I ask for your patience. It is my hope that you will find this blog supportive, understanding and uplifting. To be honest (another item you should expect) this did not originate without the proverbial detouring event. More on that detouring event throughout the year.

In an effort to raise awareness of breast cancer, and hopefully a few dollars for charity, I will be fundraising for the cause. The charity selection is still in-progress. This fundraising effort will center around my participation in the Florida Ironman Triathlon this November 2009. Stay tuned for more specifics...
