Backstory

My wife was diagnosed with breast cancer in the fall of 2008. It was caught early. Aggressive bilateral mastectomy was the choice. My concern was the lack of a cohesive focus to find a cure. I wanted a definitive course, I wanted strong leadership, I wanted to know the solution. So, I did what any normally crazy supportive co-survivor would do... enlisted for an ironman. Bike Update

Here is the prototype bike design with approximately 20-ribbons (each 1-1/2" long approximately) that will start to be applied in the next 2-weeks. I hope to be well decorated for the event. Thanks for the continued support.
Secondary note... from the 1/2 ironman Sunday... silicone caps will not stay on the head unless they are touching skin. Helpful hint for those new to long hair. Repeat, if you do not have everything fully tucked into the cap, at it is only attached to hair, it will work it's way off your skull thru the course of a 1.2 mile swim.
