Backstory

My wife was diagnosed with breast cancer in the fall of 2008. It was caught early. Aggressive bilateral mastectomy was the choice. My concern was the lack of a cohesive focus to find a cure. I wanted a definitive course, I wanted strong leadership, I wanted to know the solution. So, I did what any normally crazy supportive co-survivor would do... enlisted for an ironman. Hydration

Today was an easy 3 hour bike with a 20 min run. Felt a little sluggish today for some reason, but needed to make the push and get the work out done in the AM before the 90+ temp with humidity set in. Tried to stay hydrated thru the ride but must a miss-calculation. Went from a stout 191.5# at 6 am to 184.8# at 10am. Now I have drank four (4) 12oz glasses of water and getting ready for the next batch of water. Tomorrow may prove more challenging with the long run.

Listened to Buffett the whole way, probably kept me from burning thru more water...
