Backstory

My wife was diagnosed with breast cancer in the fall of 2008. It was caught early. Aggressive bilateral mastectomy was the choice. My concern was the lack of a cohesive focus to find a cure. I wanted a definitive course, I wanted strong leadership, I wanted to know the solution. So, I did what any normally crazy supportive co-survivor would do... enlisted for an ironman. Barrettes

Had a good 3 mile run yesterday morning... then an 8 mile run yesterday afternoon. Actually felt very good. Still falling down on the water. Concern continues to grow.
Weight room is tonight. Then a brief run tomorrow morning. Then a ride tomorrow night (2+ hours) followed by a short run. Maybe a swim on Friday night.
Now that the hair falls in the eyes, it begins to pose a challenge. So, my safety glasses have become my barrette at work.
Should have a t-shirt sketch done for upload tomorrow.
