Weather only allowed for 1 hour ride yesterday. Today faired a little better. Went for a 1.5hr ride and a 1hr run with an average heart rate of 136. Felt pretty good, reasonably strong but recovering from some weight lifting on Friday. Going to try and mix more of that into the plan. I notice a strong upswing when I incorporate those efforts.
These recovery weeks are now two weeks apart, enjoying them when they come along.
Adjusted my saddle (i.e. seat) position on the bicycle. Not the best yet, but a few more rides will have it more dialed in to the correct position.
Have a neat t-shirt idea that I will be putting together the next couple days. I will probably upload some graphic options to get everyone's opinion on a poll.
Lesly has been doing well. Each day that passes without event during this first year is a good one. Blood work is going to be done tomorrow, which make that a big day. Looking forward to more favorable results.

Backstory
My wife was diagnosed with breast cancer in the fall of 2008. It was caught early. Aggressive bilateral mastectomy was the choice. My concern was the lack of a cohesive focus to find a cure. I wanted a definitive course, I wanted strong leadership, I wanted to know the solution. So, I did what any normally crazy supportive co-survivor would do... enlisted for an ironman.
